our party policy
If you plan to host your party at Creative Connection, please read the following terms in full.
A non-refundable deposit of $100 will secure your party date. The remaining balance will be charged the week of your party. The deposit must be paid within 24 hours that it is sent to secure the date. Your date may be offered to others after that time.
Every party price includes up to 10 children (including the birthday child and participating siblings). The cost is $15 for each additional child up to 15 children maximum. We only offer seating up to 24-30 total guests.
The host family is welcome 20 minutes before the party's start time. You may use this time to bring in any decorations and food necessary. Guests may not arrive until the party's start time.
Parties are two hours in length- no exceptions. The first half is dedicated to the art (or play) portion of the party. The second half is yours to do what you wish - including gift-opening, serving food, celebrating with treats, and just hanging out. Our staff will help manage the transitions.
We do not provide food, beverages, or cutlery including plates, napkins, cups, and utensils. The host family is responsible for providing these items if desired. Our staff will assist you with the distribution of food and beverage.
Alcohol is not permitted at any event within our facility.
We provide plastic table covers in the color of your choice. If no color is specified, white table covers will be used.
We will email you 1-2 weeks in advance to confirm attendance numbers. At this time, you will be asked for final guest count and will be sent the invoice for your remaining balance. The final balance must be paid at this time.
You may bring in decorations. You may bring in helium-filled balloons, centerpieces, and any decor of your choice. We do not allow the attachment of any decor to the walls of the facility. We do provide a "Happy Birthday" felt banner, table covers, as well as a sidewalk birthday sign, but this is the extent of decor we provide.
In case of inclement weather or illness of the birthday child, parties may be postponed. Our small business depends on our parties, so all deposits are nonrefundable. We will do our best to offer a date to reschedule, but this is not guaranteed.
Please inform your guests to expect their little ones to get messy, and to consider this when dressing them. We offer the use of aprons, but most of our party projects use acrylic paint, which can stain clothing. We also ask that guests remove shoes in our studio, so socks are recommended.
All guests must sign a liability waiver/photo release prior to the start of the party. This is to cover all liability purposes on our end. We ask that you distribute these to your guests with their invitations. It is helpful if guests arrive with these already signed. We will have some on hand as well.
After your party ends, we give a 20 minute grace period for you to pack up. We handle the cleaning, so don't worry about picking up any of the project materials. The only thing we ask of you is that you take any of your personal decorations or leftover food.
